This campaign inspires and assists people planting up their pavements. Pedestrian thoroughfares offer more than a safe passage. Pavements can also be a sociable and practical place for community gardening that brings beauty, wildlife and even food to your neighbourhood.

Pimp Your Pavement was launched in 2010 by Richard Reynolds, founder of Inspired by examples of pimped pavements from around the world, both done with and without permission. The campagn is global but with a focus on London where he has worked with the London Sustainable Development Commission, Lambeth Council, Southwark Living Streets, The Conservation Foundation and Trees for Cities.

If you pimp your pavement please get in touch and help Pimp Your Pavement share your experience.
